MEET AMBER LITTLE
Built by an operator.
Made for what comes next.
I’ve spent my career inside the decisions growing organizations face—where a good strategy only matters if leaders can make it work in real life.
That perspective is why I founded Phoenix People Partners: to help organizations scale with intention and help leaders grow without losing sight of the human doing the leading.
People strategy should be business strategy. And it has to work for the people living it.
I’ve been the CHRO in the room when the business is growing, the structure is changing, leaders are stretched, and yesterday’s way of working no longer fits.
In those moments, people decisions cannot sit apart from the business. The work is to understand what the organization is becoming, make clear choices, and build the leadership and systems to support it.
I bring that operating perspective to every Phoenix partnership—along with the belief that ambitious growth and thoughtful leadership can belong in the same conversation.
THE PERSPECTIVE BEHIND PHOENIX
I know what growth asks of people.
EXPERIENCE IN THE SEAT
Strategy shaped by operating reality.
My work as a CHRO has involved scaling a distributed organization across locations, states, and teams. It has meant making decisions through growth, change, and complexity—not simply advising from the outside.
HOW I WORK
Clarity, candor, and practical action.
TWO CONNECTED PARTS OF MY WORK
Stronger organizations.
More intentional leaders.
BEYOND THE ROLE
The human doing the leading matters, too.
My work has taught me that leadership does not happen separately from life. How we think, connect, act, and care for ourselves shapes how we show up for others.
That belief became Whole Human Leadership—a guided reflection journal and a growing body of work on the inner practice of leadership.
