Reflections on leadership, life, and the inner work of becoming.

Leadership doesn't happen in isolation from the rest of our lives.

Lead From the Ashes is where I write about what it means to lead, grow, stumble, rebuild, and keep becoming — at work, at home, in relationships, and in the moments when life doesn't fit neatly into a leadership model.

Some reflections are about leadership. Others are about grace, resilience, motherhood, ambition, relationships, identity, faith, boundaries, and the lessons life has a way of teaching us when we aren't looking for them.

Because who we are shapes how we lead.

And sometimes the most important growth happens not when everything is going well, but when we're willing to look honestly at what remains after the fire — and decide what we want to build from there.

The Inner Work of Leadership

Many of the ideas explored here are part of Whole Human Leadership — my approach to leading with greater self-awareness, intention, courage, resilience, and humanity.

Whole Human Leadership began as a guided reflection journal for women and has grown into a framework for how we lead ourselves, our lives, and others.
